There is no doubt that patPortal is still under heavy devolpement. But since there are several patPortal installations it is necessary to implement a basic error handling.

If you come up with a flexible error handling, fine. Otherwise, this will need some time. patPortal is not even beta, so this is not the highest priority for me.
I'm not even sure what the error handling should be capable of... Currently I'm thinking about using Exceptions for PHP-errors and some kind of error object to log all errors that are not developer related (like user calls a page that does not exist). patPortal would then catch all exceptions that have not been caught in the component itself and create an error object from this.
